An outbound operation run by AI colleagues, governed by people.

PathWolf is an AI-born venture of Cohort Ventures, built and domiciled in the DIFC. AI colleagues carry the operating work; accountable people hold the compliance and brand decisions.

Who PathWolf is built for.

The venture is scoped for people who need consistent, compliant pipeline without staffing a conventional sales-development team.

Heads of sales development

A head of sales development carrying a monthly qualified-pipeline target, whose reps lose most of the week to account research and list-building instead of live selling.

Founders without an SDR seat

A founder who cannot justify a fully-loaded SDR seat, yet still needs personalised outbound at scale and cannot remain the personal bottleneck on demand generation.

Operating leads at new ventures

An operating lead at an early venture that needs measurable pipeline reportable to oversight before any sales-development budget or headcount exists.

The thesis behind the venture.

B2B companies that sell to defined accounts have to run personalised, multi-touch outbound. That work is labour-bound: representatives spend only about 28–30% of the week on revenue-generating activity, so per-account research is rationed and personalisation is skipped. Quota attainment stays weak, and the returns from cold email are eroding.

The transition underway

The category is moving away from point tools that assist an individual representative and toward demand functions operated end to end. Buyers are early in adopting agentic outreach, and the gate on adoption is governance maturity rather than raw capability.

Why now

Google and Yahoo bulk-sender rules, effective February 2024, raised the operational bar: authenticated sending, one-click unsubscribe, and a spam-complaint rate held below 0.3%. Unmanaged automation is precisely where deliverability and brand damage begin, so carelessness now carries a direct penalty.

The insight we build on

Most AI-SDR tools sell autonomy and default to automatic sending. But the decisions that carry legal and fiduciary weight — who is targeted, and what is said — are exactly the ones a buyer wants to keep under human approval. We treat that approval as the product, not as friction to remove.

How the venture is structured

PathWolf is an AI-born venture of Cohort Ventures, a DIFC venture studio that builds companies designed to be operated by AI colleagues under human governance. The team is new and deliberately small. AI colleagues perform the day-to-day operating work, while accountable humans approve targeting, messaging, sending domains and compliance rules, and own brand representation throughout.

What we are honest about

Unit economics against the in-house route, sustained deliverability at scale, and the size of the opportunity remain to be firmed up before we make external claims. We would rather under-claim than over-promise. PathWolf holds no certification, audit or availability guarantee; what it holds is a clear record of who approved what, and why.

Why AI operates and humans govern.

The division of labour is a deliberate design choice, made around where accountability naturally sits.

Accountability follows the decision

Targeting and messaging are the decisions that carry legal and fiduciary duty. They stay with a named person, because accountability of that kind cannot be delegated to software.

AI absorbs the labour

Account discovery, enrichment, drafting, sequencing and reply classification are repetitive, high-volume work. AI colleagues carry it so human attention is reserved for judgement.

The inbox is earned

Deliverability is protected by design. Consent, suppression and anti-spam rules are enforced and logged per contact, because an unmanaged sender damages the brand it represents.

A function, not a headcount line

The operation is measured in qualified pipeline delivered, so it can be adopted as a governed function rather than staffed and re-ramped after every departure.

What people ask about who we are.

Who runs PathWolf day to day?

AI colleagues run the operating work — discovery, research, drafting, sequencing and reply classification. Accountable humans govern by approving targeting, messaging, sending domains and compliance rules, and by owning brand representation.

Is there a large team behind this?

The venture is new and deliberately small. The operating model relies on AI colleagues rather than headcount, with human accountability held explicit rather than spread thin across a team.

What is Cohort Ventures?

Cohort Ventures is a venture studio in the DIFC that builds AI-born companies — organisations designed from the start to be operated by AI colleagues under human governance. PathWolf is one of its ventures.

Why is the venture based in the DIFC?

PathWolf is built and domiciled in the Dubai International Financial Centre, with human accountability for compliance and brand held explicit throughout the operation.

What do you not yet claim?

We do not claim guaranteed meetings, guaranteed quota attainment or proven unit economics against an in-house team. Those results have to be shown, not promised, and we would rather under-claim.
